  This is officially my favorite place on Earth! My husband and I went in for a late lunch and were not disappointed. My chicken pastie was lucious and rich, and the salad was as crisp and fresh as you could wish for. He got a dreamy slightly rediculous look on his face as he savoured each mouthful of the homemade mushroom soup (which if you knew him would say volumes right there!). The Yorkshire Tea is fullbodied without the unsettling tang that accompanies so many other blends. (Note to self: buy some next shopping trip.) The staff were friendly without being intrusive or pushy and they went well out of their way to accomodate my husbands large, somewhat cumbersome electric wheelchair. As it turned out they would also have found a place to park my medical scooter as well...20/20 hindsight. And the British museum and memorobelia that surround you as you eat and shop are simply astounding! One could literally spend days in there! I cannot recommend Dickens Sweets & Olivers Tea Room and British Museum stringly enough!

  I go there for the candies and baking stuff. The staff is always helpful and knowledgable.

  My girlfriend and I joined a handful of friends for brunch here. Food quality was poor, portions were pathetic, price was absolutely outlandish. We walked out $52 poorer after a "meal" for 2 that barely qualified as a snack hungry and severely disappointed. Service was impolite, slow and didn't get our very simple orders right. They were out of nearly everything we initially tried to order, and what we ended up getting was sub-par at best. The only saving grace of this place is their phenomenal candy store, but after my terrible experience in their tea room I'll be taking my business to Sticky's Candy Store on Wellington.
