  Searched forever on the Net for Kettles. Found Goldsteam by accident, and found all the pieces I was looking for in 1 place. And the price on the kettles is the best i've been able to find for something that's welded and comes with thermometer and spigot. The online store is well laid out, and easy to navigate. Had great customer service on the phone. Really great experience all round. Will be back for a 15 gal kettle down the road. Cheers

  Just received my 10G kettle and it looks great! Sturdy, feels heavy duty and the finish is great. Can't wait to get brewing.

  This shop is great. My orders are always put through and come in the mail within one to two business days with standard shipping(Chilliwack to Salt Spring Island)! Even bosagrape takes a week and they are quite close. I have the 15G goldsteam kettle, couldn't be more happy. The welded bulkhead is crucial. It simply never leaks. I have even used the valve as a handle to upend the kettle when I wash it. Can't do that with a blichmann or the o-rings loose their seal immediately. The small hole in the lid is ideal for a cooling coil but is incredibly handy as a place to hang my spoon instead of putting it down on any surface. Don't get that with a blichmann. My $500 10g blichmann lets me down regularly with some leaks and burned spots but not the goldsteam. While it is true that the blichmann has much thicker stainless walls than the goldsteam, it almost feels as if they've passed the point of redundancy. The 15G goldsteam is really sturdy. I have lifted it several times with 10G of liquid inside. Tough as nails and the infusometer is ideal. The shop should really have a picture of the dial face on the online store. SO helpful to have all the information you need right on the dial. With the welded bulkheads, cooler port in the lid, the sheeramount of stainless in the kettle and considering how strong the handles are: this kettle should be at least $500 for what you're getting. You just don't know what you're missing until you don't have to struggle anymore. I've bought a couple of the all-grain kits. Amazing. The grains brew like well-modified grains so it's hard to screw up. Try the Tooth and Nail IPA, excellent: normally I avoid IPA's but this one is very well balanced. It puts the rest of Vancouver craft brews to shame. The store owner must have a silver tongue to be getting his hands on these recipes! The store has an excellent selection from boiling to filtering to ingredients to kits and hardware. I called up the owner once and we chatted freely, he is full of experience and knowledge and willing to share. Awesome store. Leaves the rest of Vancouver in the dust.
